In keeping with the recent recommendations to the government by the National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency Team, we had already planned to be completely transparent about any referral fees we would be taking for mortgage advice, conveyancing services, and any other related activities for which we may receive a fee.
The way in which this will work is if we discuss with you the requirements for additional services, and we have a suitable offer available, we will let you know at that time that we will be receiving a referral fee, as well as how much that is.
By operating in this way you can be assured that we won’t be tacking on pointless extras to our main fee, and it will also underline the value we provide to all of our customers.
